Given 2009-08-14

Baroque influences are being rendered so obsolete now that ~Kourete's creation Flying certainly endows the art world with a breath of fresh relief. Skill with rendering anatomy, movement and sense of weight here is second only to the expression of the theme itself. (Suggested by ~rainbow-underwear and Featured by ^snowmask)

It looks so real.. Tell me, why is the texture of the canvas not visible at all on this one, as opposed to Time 3 in which it's apparent? A different, smoother kind?. Or is it the thickness of the paint that does it?
